This is beautiful. I have longed for this lifestyle for a long time, and my health has been holding me back. I am close to not caring anymore. I just want to be free, so that I can feel this again. I can't wait to go back out west. I know it's only a matter of time until I forfeit the convenience of immediate healthcare for freedom, if only because I don't want to imagine the kind of future regret and continuing despair I would feel if I ended up here for the rest of my life. Inherently, I feel there is no meaning and no reason to have such anxieties; but in practice, I possess insatiable wanderlust and a need for both constant change and isolation, especially from large-scale societies.

one needn't move to see the world anew. while you are where you are, be sure to make the most of it, instead of dreaming of someplace else. I'm sure you're aware (:

I do indeed. It's really less where I am and more the fact that such immobility is not preferable to me--this desire does not usually go away for long periods even if I move, which I have done frequently during my lifetime, because a move is a very temporary fix for a longing for a nomadic lifestyle--but yes, the same idea still applies.

Recent occurrences have helped me detach from this immediate desire and most all others, but the change is certainly still going to be nice when I can make it happen. It's just more suited to me.
